How can I check where a page ranks on Google based on a keyword search without needing a Google soap API key?
I am looking for a website which will let me enter a URL and a keyword (or keywords), and tell me where my page ranks based on that query. I have found several sites which claim to do this, but when I actually get to them, they require a soap API key, which I do not have and which google has stopped issuing.

I don't know of a website that will let you do that, but I am sure they are out there. I would recommend Advanced Web Ranking (AWR), although it is REALLY slow it gives pretty accurate results that are graphed overtime so you can see changes. Please note I am not affiliated with the site I just like the services they offer. AWR has an option for API keys but I have never used one. AWR has a great info that will explain it more.
